Tibi Fall — Stony Creek

August 28, 2014 9:41 am

I’ve been collaborating with Tibi for almost 4 years now and it’s always an exciting new experience – each campaign is taken to an unexpected place that somehow gets better each time. This Fall shoot was no exception and it was our very first time working outside of the studio.

Tibi’s founder Amy Smilovic decided the setting would be Stony Creek Quarry in Branford, Connecticut. The granite of Stony Creek has been used in dozens of historical sites including the base of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Station and The Smithsonian. Not only does Stony Creek have an important history but it made for some incredible backdrops. Below are some of the images from the campaign that Harpers Bazaar featured as one of the best campaigns of Fall. You can also read more about the campaign in this New York magazine feature as well.

Many thanks to Amy and everyone else at Tibi who helped make this happen.
